Germany is ready to provide Ukraine with an additional Patriot air defence system and €500 million in aid.
This is stated in a message from the German government on the X network, citing a statement by German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.
The German foreign minister said that the country is ready to provide Ukraine with an additional Patriot air defence system to protect the country's skies, and that the German government will provide an additional €500 million in aid.
‘International law is unequivocal: states under attack have not only the right to defend their territory, but also the duty to protect their citizens. Our military support for Ukraine is in line with these principles,’ Baerbock stressed and added that Ukraine's allies should adhere to the principle of “one for all and all for one” in their support.
‘Together, we must maintain our unwavering support and commitment,’ she said.
