Russia shelled Kharkiv with ballistic weapons in the middle of the night. There were hits in three different places.

On the afternoon of 31 May, the Prosecutor General's Office reported that the death toll from the nighttime shelling of Kharkiv had risen to 6.

According to Mayor Ihor Terekhov, two hits were recorded in the area of dense residential buildings. As it became known later, the occupiers hit a five-storey residential building.

A fire broke out at the site of the shelling. As of 9:34 a.m., the death toll had increased from four to five, and 25 people were wounded.

As of 8:37 a.m., it was reported that four more people could be under the rubble of the building. One person was later found dead.

According to Ihor Terekhov, the Russians again used the tactic of repeated attacks.

‘As a result of the repeated shelling at 00:15, a fire truck and an ambulance were damaged,’ he said in the morning.

In addition, Russia struck two more locations in the city. A man born in 1959 was killed when a missile hit the ground on the territory of a civilian enterprise.

‘Another missile hit a three-storey administrative building,’ the mayor added.
