On 27 June, in the afternoon, Russia attacked Kharkiv. The Kyiv district of the regional centre came under fire.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Synyehubov.
According to the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, the attack took place in a residential area.
"It hit private residential buildings. Some of them were destroyed. A dormitory of one of our universities was also damaged. There was no information about the dead and injured," the mayor added.
Update 16.54. Synyehubov said that according to emergency medics, there are four injured.
"A man received an explosive wound with damage to his lower limbs, a woman has an acute stress reaction," the head of the regional military administration said, adding that two other people also had acute stress reactions.
The SES said that the windows and gates of the local fire and rescue unit were also damaged. The personnel and equipment of the SES were not injured. One of the Russian bombs hit a residential building but did not explode.
