Former US President Donald Trump went on the promised live stream with Elon Musk on X.

According to the BBC, the long-awaited interview was marred by technical problems: Musk said that the former Twitter was subjected to a DDoS attack, which is why the start of the conversation had to be postponed.

During his conversation with Musk, Trump once again said that Russia's invasion of Ukraine was due to Joe Biden's policies. The Republican claims that he "got along well with Putin and had his respect" and recalled "a lot of conversations about Ukraine when I told him not to do it". Ukraine, according to Trump, was "what Putin wanted the most".

Kamala Harris's headquarters responded to Trump's interview by saying that "two of the worst people you know are on the air right now" and called Musk "a lackey for Trump, spreading his vile ideas to an audience of millions through one of the most popular websites in the world".
