On the night of 15 August, the Air Defence Forces shot down 29 Russian Shahed drones.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Russian military struck with 3 X-59 guided missiles from the airspace of the Kursk Region (Russia) and 29 Shahed-type attack UAVs from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Yeysk, and Kursk Regions (Russia).
"As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, the calculations of the mobile firing groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, aviation, anti-aircraft missile units and electronic warfare systems of the Air Force shot down 29 enemy UAVs in Mykolayiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Kherson, Zaporizhzhya, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kyiv Regions," the statement said.
