Russian commander is captured in the Kursk Region, the fighters of the 225th Separate Mechanised Brigade has reported.
"An officer was taken prisoner. He is a company commander who was left without a company. Most of them have been eliminated, the rest are fleeing across the field, we are killing them," the fighters said.
"I, junior lieutenant Tkachev Andrey Andreyevich, company commander of the first motorised rifle battalion of the 810th Marine Brigade, was taken prisoner by the 225th Separate Special Forces. I am asking to be exchanged for captured Azov soldiers, defenders of Mariupol," the prisoner said.
The Ukrainian soldiers also showed how the remnants of the company demonstrate "true team spirit" in the competition "who will be the first to leave the battlefield".
