On Friday, 16 August, air defence forces shot down two enemy missiles over the Dnipro Region. 

This was reported by the head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak.

‘The defenders of the sky shot down two enemy missiles over the region. I thank the Vostok military industrial complex for their work,’ Lysak wrote.

At the same time, fires broke out in Dniprovskyy district as a result of the missile attacks. There were no casualties.

The enemy also attacked Nikopol district with drones and artillery. Nikopol, Pokrovska, Myrivska, and Marhanetska communities came under attack. 

Infrastructure, 5 private houses, 2 outbuildings, and a car were damaged.
