On the night of 18 August, the Ukrainian Defence Forces struck at the Kavkaz plant in Rostov Region of the Russian Federation, where oil products for the military needs of the Russian army were stored.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"On the night of 18 August, the Kavkaz plant in the Rostov Region of the Russian Federation was struck. Oil and oil products were stored there, which were also supplied to the needs of the Russian occupation army," the statement said.
As a result of the strike, at least two fires were recorded on the territory of the facility. More detailed information on the consequences of the attack is being clarified.
The strike on the Russian facility was carried out by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine in cooperation with the Armed Forces and other components of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
