Naftogaz Group offers foreign traders to store gas in Ukrainian gas storage facilities despite Russia's attacks on energy infrastructure. Naftogaz Group CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov said this in an interview with POLITICO.

"Currently, the injection volumes have decreased, as no sharp price increase is expected this winter. At the same time, we understand that European gas storage facilities are already more than 90% full, while we have a lot of free space that we can offer to our partners for gas storage," said Oleksiy Chernyshov.

He also added that the conditions offered by Ukraine are favourable for European companies.

According to Oleksiy Chernyshov, the most important priority now is to strengthen Ukraine's air defence systems to protect energy facilities from Russian attacks.

"We are extremely grateful for the assistance we have already received, but the need for additional protective equipment remains," said the Head of Naftogaz Group.
