The Russian army fired on a cargo of wheat destined for Egypt in the Black Sea. The enemy struck the civilian vessel immediately after it left territorial waters, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
According to preliminary reports, no lives were lost. Ukraine expects the world to react to this attack.
"Ukraine is one of the key global contributors to food security. Internal stability and the lives of dozens of countries in different parts of the world depend on the normal and unhindered operation of our export food corridor," the President said.
