Ukraine has managed to return 10 more children under the Bring Kids Back UA initiative.
This was announced by the Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak.
‘The institution was deported by the occupation authorities to Russia. These children with disabilities were subjected to multiple displacements before they ended up in the territory of the now-occupied Skadovsk, from where they had a long journey home,’ Yermak said.
Qatar assisted in the return of the children. They are currently receiving all the necessary assistance for rehabilitation.
Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets noted that the returned children include 9 children and a 20-year-old boy and his brother. Some of them have disabilities and serious illnesses. The children are from Kherson, Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk, Luhansk Regions and Crimea.
