On the night of 28 September, the Russian army attacked Poltava Region with drones. Air defence systems were used against Russian targets. The wreckage of the downed drones damaged the energy infrastructure.
This was reported by the head of the Poltava RMA Fylyp Pronin.
"At night, the enemy attacked Poltava Region with a UAV. Air defence systems worked on enemy targets. Fortunately, there were no casualties. UAV debris damaged the energy infrastructure in the Region. Currently, 94 consumers are without electricity," the statement said.
Experts are already working to restore power supply.
