Ukraine's Defence Minister Rustem Umerov has dismissed four of his deputies. He reported this on Facebook.

"I have signed a submission to the Cabinet of Ministers to dismiss the deputy ministers of defence - Stanislav Hayder (who is moving to the position of head of the minister's office), Oleksandr Serhiy, Yuriy Dzhyhyr, and Lyudmyla Darahan (state secretary)," he wrote.

He also added that he would announce new appointments, including deputy ministers, separately.

According to the minister, the system of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine - the Armed Forces, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the State Security Service of Ukraine - is a closed perimeter during martial law.

"Any external or internal attempts to influence them are unacceptable. In this context, personnel changes are being made," Umerov added.

First Deputy Ivan Havrylyuk, deputies Dmytro Klimenkov, Kateryna Chornohorenko (Deputy for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalisation), Oleksandr Balanutsa (for European Integration), and Brigadier General Anatoliy Klochko retained their positions.
