Russian troops attacked Izmayil district of Odesa Region with attack drones on 2 October. As a result, two people were injured, including a Turkish citizen.
This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Kiper.
"The Russians targeted the port and border infrastructure. Two men - truck drivers - were injured. One of them is a Turkish citizen. The victims are currently in moderate condition in hospital. They are being provided with all the necessary assistance," he wrote on Telegram.
Kiper also said that the Russians deliberately shelled the checkpoint, making it difficult for ordinary people to cross the border. "This is terror against the civilian population," he added.
