Last night, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defence Forces, struck the 67th arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation in Bryansk Region.
This was reported by the General Staff and the Unmanned Systems Forces.
According to the available information, ammunition for missile and artillery weapons, including those from the DPRK, as well as guided aerial bombs, were stored on the territory of the warehouse. Much of it was stored in the open air.
Explosions were recorded on the territory of the facility. It is known that local authorities blocked the road near the arsenal. The results of the combat operations are being clarified.
The destruction of such arsenals creates serious logistical problems for the Russian army, which significantly reduces the offensive potential of the occupiers in threatened areas.
The Unmanned Systems Forces noted that there are few such facilities - approximately two dozen across the Russian Federation, each of which stores tens of thousands of tonnes of ammunition.
- Earlier, the head of the National Security and Defence Council's Central Intelligence Department, Andriy Kovalenko, and Russian telegram channels reported the damage to the ammunition depot.
- The Russian Ministry of Defence reported the downing of 47 Ukrainian drones, including 24 over the territory of the Bryansk Region.
