For the first time since Keir Starmer became Prime Minister, the UK has supplied Ukraine with Storm Shadow missiles, Bloomberg reports, citing its sources.
According to the publication, several dozen missiles were delivered quietly, without public announcement, before the United States and its allies authorised long-range strikes deep into Russian territory. The deliveries are believed to have taken place several weeks ago.
The last official discussion about providing Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine occurred in April, under former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
The media previously reported that a delay in supplying Storm Shadow missiles had strained relations between Kyiv and London. Allegedly, Ukraine refrained from inviting Starmer to visit until the missile issue was resolved.
