Russia launched a missile attack on Odesa on Monday morning, causing casualties and damaging civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings. According to the updated data, at least 11 people were injured. Eight were hospitalised.
The head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, confirmed the incident. "Five people were rescued. An administrative building of the bank, 8 residential buildings and 8 cars were damaged," the SES said.
According to preliminary data, the Russians struck with an Iskander-M.
Oleh Kiper added that dentistry, a beauty salon, shops, flower shops, a school and a university gym were also damaged. Windows and doors were smashed. Fortunately, teachers and students were in shelters at the time of the attack.
The Ukrainian Air Force also reported a ballistic missile threat from the south.
