Starting at 10 p.m. on 2 December, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 28 Shahed and other types of attack drones. The drones were launched from the directions of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk, Orel, and Millerovo (Russia).
As of 9 a.m., 22 drones have been confirmed downed, according to the Air Force.
The drones were shot down in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Vinnytsya, Khmelnytskyy, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Odesa, Mykolayiv and Dnipropetrovsk Regions.
"One drone was lost in the area, and two left the controlled airspace in the direction of Belarus and the temporarily occupied territory. Several hits were recorded on critical infrastructure facilities in Ternopil and Rivne Regions," the statement said.
