The Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has approved investments in Ukraine worth more than €1.3 billion.
This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
According to him, it is about eight projects to support the public and private sectors. ‘In particular, in the field of restoring transport and energy infrastructure, in support of government programmes to develop distributed generation and improve energy efficiency,’ the Prime Minister added.
Shmyhal stressed that part of the funds are non-refundable grants.
- This year, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development projects in Ukraine have attracted more than €1.2 billion in public sector investments.
