Following the Ramstein meeting on 9 January, Ukraine's allies and partners allocated an additional $234 million to the International Fund for Ukraine (IFU).

This is stated on the UK government website.

The fund is administered by the UK and is used to quickly purchase priority military equipment for Kyiv's needs. For the first time, Germany and Portugal have contributed.

The new contributions include:

  • $82.4 million from Denmark for drones, air defence systems and training equipment;
  • $72.6 million from Norway for special capabilities, including drones and maritime training;
  • $52.9 million from Portugal for reconnaissance, surveillance and reconnaissance drones;
  • $24.6 million from Sweden to finance the repair of Archer self-propelled artillery systems and maritime training;
  • $4.9 million from Germany for maritime training;
  • $1.23 million from Iceland to finance coastal radars.
