On 10 January, Russia attacked Ukraine with 72 Shahed attack drones and various types of decoy drones from the directions of Millerovo, Orel, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. This was reported by the Command of the Air Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As of 09:00, 33 Shaheds and other types of drones have been confirmed downed in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Khmelnytskyy, Vinnytsya and Kherson Regions.
A civilian was injured in the frontline area in the north of Chernihiv Region and five UAV hits were recorded (enterprises and commercial buildings).
In Kyiv, a drone fell on a high-rise building, damaging the building and 20 cars. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties.
34 Russian decoy drones were lost in the area (without any negative consequences), one of them flew towards Russia.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defence Forces.
