Tymur Tkachenko, the newly appointed head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, announced that debris from a Russian Shahed attack drone struck a 16-storey residential building in the Solomyanskyy district of Kyiv.
The impact caused damage to the windows of the high-rise and six cars in the vicinity. Eyewitnesses reported that the debris hit the technical floor near the roof. Emergency services quickly secured the area, preventing any fires from spreading.
According to the State Emergency Service (SES), no injuries were reported. By 10:30 a.m., dangerous structures on the roof and technical floor had been cleared, and work on the stairwell was ongoing.
One car in the yard sustained damage from the debris. Investigations and repairs are continuing.
