On Friday morning, the Russian army conducted a drone attack on the Dnipropetrovsk Region. One of the drones struck a multi-storey residential building in the city of Pavlohrad. As of 8:30 a.m., three fatalities had been confirmed – including a child.
One of the deceased was a 76-year-old woman, according to the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak.
As of 11:26 a.m., 14 individuals had sustained injuries, Lysak reported. Among them are three children.
“In addition to teenagers aged 15 and 17, there is a 6-year-old boy. Five of the injured remain in hospital – three of whom are in serious condition,” he stated.
According to updated information from the State Emergency Service, Russian forces launched a renewed strike during the emergency response, injuring one rescue worker.
In addition to the residential building, the city’s infrastructure, a social institution and three vehicles were damaged.
- Elsewhere in the Region, fires broke out at businesses in the Synelnykovo and Samariv districts. The Nikopol community was also targeted with drones and Grad multiple rocket launchers – an industrial facility sustained damage.
