On the night of 14 June, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with other members of the Defence Forces, struck an explosives production facility in Russia.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, NNK JSC in the Samara Region was attacked. After a series of explosions, a fire broke out in the industrial area.
“This is a leading enterprise for the production of explosive components – a facility of the Russian military–industrial complex,” the General Staff added.
In addition, in Stavropol Territory, the Defence Forces also hit the Nevinnomyssk plant, which is one of the key producers of basic components for explosives, ammunition and rocket fuel.
“The company is involved in supporting Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine. A series of explosions and enemy air defence activities are known to have taken place in the vicinity of the target, and a fire was detected in the industrial area,” the Ukrainian military said.
