Founded in 2024, the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies creates a platform for bringing together Ukrainian and foreign universities. It helps find relevant teachers, departments or educational institutions, and facilitates the launch of joint inter-institutional educational and scientific projects. Coalition members also have access to online lectures by leading Ukrainian researchers, which broadens international academic dialogue.

Currently, the coalition brings together 44 participants from 15 countries around the world.

The initiative is being implemented with the support of First Lady Olena Zelenska and is a joint project of the Ukrainian Institute, the President of Ukraine’s Foundation for the Support of Education, Science and Sport, the Representative Office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea/Crimean Platform Office, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
