Today, 1 April, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyy reported to Supreme Commander-in-Chief Volodymyr Zelenskyy that the situation on the frontline remains fairly tense, with Russian forces trying to step up their assault activity.

“But this only results in increased losses on their side and does not disrupt our operations,” Syrskyy said.

He added that it is important that Russia has failed to achieve its objectives in the border areas of Sumy and Kharkiv regions, as well as in Donetsk Region, and is once again postponing its deadlines.

On the southern axis, Ukrainian units continue to carry out their assigned tasks.

They also discussed objectives related to deep strikes.
