Yuliya Ilyukha will take part in “Night of Literature”, an international event scheduled for 30 June at the Irish Cultural Centre in Paris.

Throughout the evening, 21 authors from different countries will present books recently translated into French. The event is organised by the Forum of Foreign Cultural Institutes in Paris (FICEP).

The Ukrainian writer will present her book “My Women”, translated by Iryna Dmytryshyn and Agatha Bonin. Her participation in the Paris event is organised by the Ukrainian Institute in France and the Austrian Cultural Forum.

In 2023, “My Women” received the International Chapbook Prize from the literary magazine 128 Lit, and excerpts were awarded a sponsorship prize (Förderpreis) from the Rotahorn Literary Prize in Austria. In 2024, the short story collection was named BBC Book of the Year.
