Mykola Nahornyy donated a selection of fiction and historical books to the New Central Library of Cairo University, including works translated into Arabic over recent years, according to the embassy’s Facebook page.
Among the additions are translations of works by Lesya Ukrainka, Iren Rozdobudko, and Olha Kobylyanska.
Similar book collections were previously donated in 2024–2025 to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the Egyptian Writers’ Union, and the “Palace of Egypt” library, which is planned to open in the New Administrative Capital.
