Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in the United States. The head of state plans to meet his American counterpart, Donald Trump, and pay his respects to Senator Lindsey Graham.
He wrote about it on Telegram.
“Already in the United States of America. The schedule includes meetings with President Trump, his team, and those who can support our defence. Priority number one is missile defence and strategic cooperation with America. Peace must come closer,” his post says.
He also said that, on behalf of all of Ukraine, he will honor Lindsey Graham’s memory and attend a ceremony in Washington, where “we will remember his efforts for the sake of security and freedom in the Euro-Atlantic, and other regions of the world.”
