Over the past day, Russians wounded 19 residents of Sumy Region. Among the injured are seven children of various ages.
This was reported in statements by the regional police and the head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Hryhorov.
Three children and three adults were injured in Sumy as a result of a nighttime strike with guided aerial bombs. Doctors are still examining a 10-year-old boy in hospital, but preliminarily his injuries are not serious. The other injured received the necessary medical care without hospitalisation.
As a result of the strike by Russian aerial bombs, private homes were destroyed and damaged. Police clarified the ages of the injured. They are boys aged 3, 6, and 10; a 71-year-old man; and two 38-year-old women. In addition, a 71-year-old man was injured as a result of a drone strike.
In the Bilopillya community, as a result of a Russian drone strike, two children were injured: a 3-year-old girl and an 11-month-old boy, as well as a 36-year-old woman.
