As a result of Russian shelling of Pavlohrad, a sorting depot and the base for Ukrposhta’s mobile post offices were destroyed.
This was reported by the Ministry for Restoration, Infrastructure and Transport.
The hostile attack claimed the lives of two female employees of the company. Another person was injured.
“The destroyed depot handled the processing and delivery of postal items for Pavlohrad and surrounding settlements. Despite the attack, Ukrposhta has already put backup logistics solutions in place to ensure uninterrupted delivery of pensions, medicines, parcels and letters. In the first days, minor delays are possible due to process adjustments,” the ministry warned.
Ukrposhta also plans to reimburse customers for the value of all shipments that were destroyed as a result of the Russian strike, the Ministry for Restoration said.
- In addition to Pavlohrad, the enemy attacked infrastructure in the Vyshneve community of Kamyanske district. There are also dead and wounded there.
