The death toll from Russia’s 5 August attack on Kyiv has risen. One of the injured has died in hospital.
The Kyiv City Military Administration reported this.
“It has become known that, unfortunately, a 55-year-old man who was wounded as a result of the shelling of Kyiv on August 5 has died in hospital,” the statement said.
- On the night of 5 August, Russia attacked Kyiv and the Region with ballistic missiles, Oniks missiles, and drones. The main targets were warehouse facilities belonging to civilian businesses. Russia also struck infrastructure and a railway station.
- It hit sites unrelated to the war: a brewing company, building materials warehouses, and civilian logistics. At the time, 17 people were reported killed and more than 50 wounded.
