Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a Russian Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system. The cost of such a system is estimated at about $45 million.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
The strike was carried out on August 11 near Topoli in Luhansk Region. Ukrainian troops also hit a command-and-observation post of Russian forces near Terebrene in Belgorod Region and a logistics depot in Rovenky in Luhansk Region.
A day earlier, on August 10, the Defense Forces struck six control points for Russian drones. They were located in Ukraine’s Donetsk and Zaporizhzhya regions and in Russia’s Kursk Region.
The General Staff noted that striking such targets reduces the combat capabilities of Russian groupings in several directions.
"Work on key targets continues," Ukrainian defenders said.

The Buk-M3 is a Russian self-propelled medium-range surface-to-air missile system designed to engage aircraft, missiles, and drones. Its firing range reaches 70 kilometers. The approximate price is $45–50 million.
