On the night of 12 August, Russia attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile, an Kh-31P anti-radiation missile and Kh-35 guided air-launched missiles. The attacks were launched from Rostov Region and the Black Sea.
The Russian forces also used 138 attack UAVs, including jet-powered Shahed drones, Gerbera drones and Parody decoy drones. They were launched from Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, occupied Donetsk and Crimea.
Sumy and Odesa regions were the main targets, the Ukrainian Air Force reported.
“As of 09:00, according to preliminary data, air defence forces had shot down or suppressed 112 enemy UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera and other types of drones, in the north, south and east of the country,” the statement said.
There were hits at 16 locations, while debris fell at two others. The attack is ongoing, with enemy drones still in the sky.

Overnight and in the morning, Russian forces attacked Odesa. Infrastructure and a ten-storey residential building were damaged.

In Poltava Region, an industrial facility was attacked.
