Ukrainian company UFORCE has unveiled the new MV11 maritime drone from the MAGURA family, capable of carrying other unmanned systems. The company told Militarnyi about the development.
MV11 is the largest member of the MAGURA family and differs from previous models primarily in its role. While other platforms in the family have mainly been used as strike or reconnaissance maritime drones, MV11 has been designed as a multipurpose carrier platform. It can transport other unmanned systems and launch them directly from its deck. The drone can also deliver fuel and equipment for them.
According to its stated specifications, MV11 can carry up to 2,200 kg of payload and operate autonomously for up to seven days. This allows the platform to deliver, launch and support other unmanned systems at sea, far from coastal infrastructure.

UFORCE plans to use the platform for reconnaissance and surveillance, as well as to support amphibious operations. According to the company, MV11 can perform these tasks around the clock and in various weather conditions.
The platform was developed by UFORCE’s design and R&D bureau in Portugal with international investment. The company says MV11 was designed from the outset to meet the needs and requirements of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
MAGURA is an abbreviation for Maritime Autonomous Guard Unmanned Robotic Apparatus. It is a Ukrainian-developed family of next-generation multipurpose unmanned surface vessels.
The systems can perform a range of missions, including surveillance, reconnaissance, patrol operations, search and rescue, mine countermeasures, naval fleet protection and combat missions.
According to estimates by Ukraine’s military intelligence agency, as of May 2025, MAGURA maritime drones had destroyed 21 enemy targets:

16 of them were Black Sea Fleet vessels, including the Ivanovets missile ship, the Sergey Kotov patrol ship, the Caesar Kunikov large landing ship and the Admiral Makarov frigate;

three were helicopters;

two were fighter jets.
In December 2024, for example, V5 drones armed with R-73 missiles engaged enemy Mi-8 helicopters near occupied Crimea.

On 2 May 2025, 50 km off the coast of Novorossiysk, two Russian Su-30 fighter jets were shot down by V7 drones armed with US-made AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles.
