During a Russian attack on 29 August, a PepsiCo production facility in Mykolaiv Region was damaged.
The company reported this on social media.
“The safety of our employees is our top priority, and we confirm that there were no casualties,” the statement said.
The company noted that it is currently assessing the full extent of the damage to production and is taking steps to restore product supplies to consumers.
US multinational PepsiCo has three facilities in Ukraine: two production sites in Mykolaiv Region manufacturing snacks and beverages, and a dairy processing plant in Kyiv Region.

- On 28 and 29 August, Russia attacked civilian and energy infrastructure in Mykolaiv Region. A hardware supermarket and warehouses were damaged.
- Mykolaivoblenergo reported that from 18:00 on 29 August, local electricity outage schedules were introduced in Mykolaiv, as well as in Mykolaiv and Bashtanka districts. The restrictions are linked specifically to the consequences of the latest Russian attack.
