On the night of 9 September, Ukraine’s Defence Forces carried out a comprehensive strike on the Novorossiysk naval base in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai. As a result of the attack, the Russian side lost a number of military vessels, including missile carriers.
This was reported on Telegram by the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi.
The strike on Novorossiysk involved the Unmanned Systems Forces. In addition, in Anapa, Ukrainian drones destroyed a Su-33 carrier-based fighter jet and a Mi-8 helicopter.
Also near Gelendzhik, according to Brovdi, two Russian radar systems were destroyed — the “Kasta 2E2” and the 92N6, part of the S-300/400 surface-to-air missile systems.
The USF commander also reported on the results of Ukrainian drones’ work along the line of contact. According to him, in September the average daily number of enemy personnel killed rose to 411, compared with 355 in August.
From 1 to 8 September, the USF successfully struck 16,720 enemy targets, and enemy personnel losses totalled 3,395.
Separately, the commander spoke about the results of Operation “MoLoChKa” against vessels of the shadow fleet. In the Black Sea, strikes on a further 13 units were recorded, bringing the total since the start of the operation on 6 July to 282.
“We will stand firm. Moscow will fall,” “Madyar” concluded, as he traditionally does.
