On the morning of 9 September, Russian forces attacked a railway station with a Shahed-type drone near the village of Iskra in the Kharkiv Region. The drone struck the rear of the Kharkiv–Izyum service.

This was reported by the Izyum Military Administration.

The strike caused a fire. Preliminary reports say seven people were injured.

Ambulance crews are working at the scene, and those affected are being given the necessary assistance. Information on the consequences of the attack is being clarified.

According to information from the head of Ukrzaliznytsya, Oleksandr Pertsovskyy, those injured include both passengers and railway staff. The injuries are from shrapnel and are not life-threatening.

"The train stopped for evacuation; we managed to save staff and passengers from the worst," Pertsovskyy explained.
