Russian drones attacked the Vinnytsya Region, causing damage. Information on the aftermath is being clarified.
This was reported by the head of the Vinnytsya Regional Military Administration, Nataliya Zabolotna.
"As a result of the enemy attack in the Vinnytsya Region, there was a strike on a civilian infrastructure facility. The relevant services are working on site. Information on the aftermath is being clarified", the statement said.
Residents of the region are being urged to remain in shelters until the air-raid alert is lifted.
Russia’s Attack on 13 September
- On the morning of 13 September, a Russian drone attack damaged a petrol station near the Yahodyn–Dorohusk international border crossing on the Polish border. Falling debris set parts of the station and several lorries parked nearby on fire.
- Also, two kilometres from the Polish border, Russian forces struck the locomotive of a passenger train.
- In the Khmelnytskyi region, a fire broke out after an enemy drone crashed on the premises of a business. No casualties were reported.
- In the Lviv region, a strike in Stryy has been reported. Outbuildings and homes near the station were damaged, as was a school outbuilding in the Novyy Svit area.
- In the Ivano-Frankivsk Region, following Russia’s attack, one person is known to have been injured. An industrial facility was damaged.
- In Ternopil, a transport infrastructure facility and an industrial building were hit. One person was injured.
