This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
“Under the procedural supervision of the Kherson Region prosecutor’s offices, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of war crimes (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the statement said.
According to the investigation, throughout 18 September Russian forces shelled settlements in the Kherson region using artillery and various types of drones.
As of 17:30, three injured people are known to have sustained injuries as a result of attacks by enemy UAVs.

Private homes and apartment buildings, a market area, and freight, service and passenger vehicles were also damaged.
Prosecutors, together with investigators, continue to record the consequences of the shelling and document war crimes committed by armed formations of the aggressor state.
