On the night of 21 September, another drone was spotted in the sky over Moldova. The airspace was closed for 24 minutes.

According to the ministry, at 00:17 surveillance systems recorded an unauthorised crossing of the country’s airspace by an unidentified aerial object.
According to the data received, the aircraft was moving from the direction of the village of Trybusivka in Ukraine’s Vinnytsya Region towards the village of Khrystova in Moldova’s Transnistrian region. It then headed north, towards the town of Yampil, located in the border area.
Later, the object continued moving towards Dondușeni. At 00:38 it was recorded heading towards Briceni District. At 00:44 the object disappeared from radar near the village of Tabani in Briceni district.
“For safety reasons, the airspace in the north of the country was closed for 24 minutes,” the statement said.
- On the night of 20 September, residents of Moldova’s Orhei and Călărași districts reported to the police an unknown flying object resembling a drone, as well as an explosion.
- Earlier, several unidentified aircraft were recorded in the Ștefan Vodă area after violating the country’s airspace.
