Naftogaz Group and ORLEN have agreed on the sale to Ukraine of three liquefied natural gas cargoes, as well as oil products worth $500 million.
During the Carpathian Summit, the companies signed two memorandums.
The first concerns the supply of three LNG cargoes in the first quarter of 2027. Another memorandum with ORLEN was signed by Ukrnafta, which is part of Naftogaz Group. It provides for the supply of oil products to Ukraine worth $500 million.
As noted by Naftogaz acting CEO Serhii Fedorenko, ORLEN is an important strategic partner for the Ukrainian company.
“With Russia’s ongoing attacks on our own production facilities, it is particularly important for us to have reliable sources of gas supply and diversified routes for its delivery,” he said.
The parties will also explore the possibility of supplying Ukrainian crude oil to European refineries and transferring used fuel tankers to Ukrnafta to ensure stable logistics.
