The government has allocated UAH 150m to restore 11 apartment blocks in Zaporizhzhia region that were damaged as a result of Russian attacks. The funds are provided through the Fund for Eliminating the Consequences of Armed Aggression.
Prime Minister reported this, according to Serhii Koretskyi.
Of the total amount, UAH 43m has been earmarked for two reconstruction projects that are already under way.
A further UAH 107m will be directed to nine new projects in Zaporizhzhia.
All work is to be completed by the end of the year so that residents can return to their homes as quickly as possible.
Serhii Koretskyi noted that, despite limited financial resources, it is necessary to ensure housing is restored for people affected by Russian attacks.
"This is especially important for frontline cities and communities. We are working on this together with local authorities to identify the most urgent needs and direct resources to where they are needed most," the head of government said.
