Today, 22 September, more than 500 rescuers and police officers are working at the sites of the overnight shelling. As of 11:00, all fires have been extinguished, the Interior Minister Ivan Vyhovskyi reported.
Four people were killed in Dnipro. There, Russian forces struck food warehouses, businesses and a furniture workshop. All necessary units are working at the scene, and rescuers are checking reports of people who may be trapped under the rubble.
There are casualties in Kyiv: in the middle of the night, an attack drone damaged high-rise buildings in a residential district on the left bank. In the morning, it hit a ceramic tile manufacturing plant. Ordinary residential buildings have been destroyed and damaged in Kyiv Region, Kharkiv Region and Vinnytsia Region. In recent hours, railway infrastructure has been under attack.
- On the night of 22 September, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with missiles of various types and drones. Air defence neutralised 186 targets. The main directions of the strike were Dnipropetrovsk Region, Kirovohrad Region and Poltava Region.
