As a result of the overnight attack on 24 September, a maternity hospital in Kyiv’s Podilskyy district was damaged. The building’s facade was damaged from the 1st to the 5th floors, along with windows in the laundry and boiler room, doors, and the nearby clinical and diagnostic centre.
Patients, children and medical staff were not injured. The Ministry of Health reported this.
“They were in the shelter, where medical care continued without interruption. One fatality was found in the car park near the medical facility,” the ministry said.
It added that at the height of the missile attack, a baby boy was born at the maternity hospital.
- Overnight on 24 September, the Russian army attacked Kyiv with drones. The drone attack, which the enemy has been carrying out almost continuously, also did not stop.
