On the night of 24 September, Russian forces carried out a combined strike on Odesa Region. Two people were injured.
As the head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper wrote, the Russian military struck civilian infrastructure in Odesa Region. A hospital, a grammar school, residential buildings, a shopping centre, warehouses and other civilian sites were hit.
As a result of the attack, a 10-storey non-residential building, a previously attacked shopping centre, the roof of a city hospital department and food warehouses were damaged. Windows were blown out at the grammar school and in residential buildings, and cars were damaged.
All relevant services are working at the impact sites. The injured are receiving medical assistance.
Update. According to rescue services, the strike on the previously attacked shopping centre caused a large-scale fire. Rescuers extinguished it.
At another address, a two-storey private home caught fire after a hit.
In Odesa, a 10-storey non-residential building was damaged, where a fire broke out. The roof of a seven-storey city hospital building was also damaged, windows were blown out at an educational institution and in four residential buildings, and three cars were damaged.
In Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyy district, windows were blown out in three private homes.
- The main targets of the Russian attack were Odesa Region and Kyiv Region.
- Russians shelled Odesa with small cruise missiles known as Banderol. Explosions were heard in the city.
