Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi held talks with the US Chargé d’Affaires in Ukraine, Paul Huston.
According to the head of government, the discussions covered strengthening Ukraine’s air defence, protecting cities from Russian ballistic missile and drone attacks, as well as joint initiatives on weapons production.
“We also spoke separately about the energy situation ahead of the heating season, corporate governance reforms in state-owned energy companies, and further co-operation in the energy sector, including increasing purchases of American LNG,” Koretskyi added.
Koretskyi and Huston also discussed expanding the war-risk insurance programme. The Ukrainian prime minister expressed hope for support and active involvement from the American side.
