Ukrainian company L7 Simulators, which manufactures military training simulators, has received NATO codification for its entire product line — from individual live-fire training systems to complexes for collective unit training. The company told the Militarnyy outlet.
Each simulator has been assigned its own nomenclature number in NATO’s codification system (NATO Stock Number) — a unique 13-digit code that allows the item to be identified within the supply systems of the alliance’s member countries. This simplifies product logistics accounting, catalogue searches and procurement. At the same time, the company clarifies that codification is not certification of the product to NATO technical standards, but merely a mechanism for unambiguous identification of goods within the shared defence logistics system.
In addition to codifying its existing line-up, L7 Simulators has obtained a status that allows it to codify new developments independently as they appear.
The company was registered in NATO’s codification system back in December 2024 — at that time, the UNITS complex training system received a number; it had previously been approved for use by Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence.
L7 Simulators’ range currently includes more than 50 types of simulators united into a single UNITS ecosystem: live-fire training systems, anti-tank weapons trainers, air defence and unmanned systems. Among the developments listed on the company’s website are simulators for the Browning M2, Stinger, NLAW, Carl Gustaf, RPG-7 and SPG-9.
