Ukrainian company Frontline Robotics has unveiled the Frodo ground robotic system, designed to carry out logistics, strike and evacuation missions. The company reported this on Instagram.
According to Frontline Robotics, the system has a 6×6 wheel configuration, can carry up to 400 kg of cargo and has a range of up to 150 km.
The stated maximum speed of Frodo is 40 km/h, while the manufacturer says the optimal operating speed is 30 km/h. The platform has ground clearance from 170 to 330 mm and, according to the company, is able to keep moving even after losing one of its wheels.
The system is designed for different configurations depending on the mission. Frontline Robotics calls 200 kg the optimal payload and 400 kg the maximum. For strike missions, the Frodo can be fitted with the Burya turret.
For control and data transmission, the robot can use Starlink, ELRS and LTE. The system is equipped with two cameras for daytime and night-time operation, and also supports integration of Silvus, ELRS and TBS communications systems, as well as thermal imaging cameras.
Frontline Robotics is a Ukrainian defence technology company founded in August 2023. It develops aerial and ground robotic systems for reconnaissance, logistics, strike and assault tasks. Among the company’s main developments are the multi-purpose Linza UAV, the Zoom reconnaissance drone, the Burya robotic turret, and ground robotic systems, including Frodo.
Frontline Robotics is also expanding international cooperation. In 2025, the company entered into a strategic partnership with Germany’s Quantum Systems, which acquired 10% of Frontline Robotics. At the end of 2025, they set up a joint venture, Quantum Frontline Industries, where, under the Build with Ukraine initiative, they produce Ukrainian Linza and Zoom drones for Ukraine’s Defence Forces. The first batch of Linza drones manufactured in Germany was delivered to Ukraine in April 2026.
