Russian security services have been tasked with stepping up activity in EU and NATO countries. This concerns preparations for hybrid operations aimed at weakening support for Ukraine and the Alliance’s capabilities.
This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, Russia plans to use recruited GRU and FSB agents based in European countries to carry out acts of sabotage.
Military facilities, critical infrastructure and communications systems are among the targets of Russian security services, according to the HUR.
Possible targets of Russian operations are also said to include Starlink satellite internet ground stations located in European countries.
